This course helps you to prepare for the “Pearson Test of English (Academic)”. PTE-A is a globally recognised computer based test generally preferred by those who wish to have education abroad and also by companies and educational institutions in Turkey to assess your level of English. The courses provide candidates with tactics for the test content and what is expected from them and give opportunity for plenty of practice in specific areas. The main aim of these courses are not to improve your level of English, but to increase your test result by focusing on your exam skills. Some of the points focused during the courses are:
+Essay writing language and techniques,
+High command in 4 main language skills; reading, listening, writing and speaking,
+Integrated use of four main communication skills,
+Tips and practices for reading and listening skills,
+Summarising speaking texts.
Course levels
British Side PTE-A Preparation courses are suitable for candidates at Upper-Intermediate 1 and above levels.
Course materials
Your teacher will use materials from The Official Guide to Pearson Test of English Academic course book as well as providing you with extra activities and additional materials from other sources based on the areas you and your classmates need to focus. For PTE-A Test free resources click here.
Course duration and teaching hours
Each term consists of 8 days/24 teaching hours. Course day and time alternatives are as follows:

PTE One-to-one lessons
An initial assessment test needs to be taken before the private lessons. After this test a “needs analysis” meeting is held with the course coordinator and the participant where a course programme and duration to meet the targets of the participant are agreed. Following this meeting, a private lesson programme is drawn and the lessons start.
► Appointments will be required for written and spoken placement tests.
► Lessons are taught by native English teachers.
► Free activity and work hours are available for our registered students.
